Dungloe  is about 2.5 hours from either Belfast or Larne. There are numerous ferry crossings  (minimum of 12 per day ) between Britian and Ireland giving the traveller a choice of times and providers. The main ferry providers are: Stena Line, P&O European Ferries and Seacat.  Information is available from any Irish Tourist Board offices. Dungloe  is approximately 4 hours drive from Dublin. 

BY AIR

The nearest airport is Carrickfinn (CFN) which is 7 kilometres from Dungloe. There are daily schedules from Dublin, Glasgow & Edinburgh  and  convenient UK and USA connections available. Local car hire is readily accessible.  The other major airports available to the visitor are City of Derry,  Belfast either  City or International  or Dublin .

BY COACH

Direct bus services are available from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin, Sligo, Galway and Belfast.
